6. Next, let’s look at this “living sacrifice” statement a little deeper. It is actually my next point.

     A. In Romans 12:1 it says I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.

               a. This book was written by Paul, via the hand of Tertius who adds his own greeting in Romans 16:22. We find Paul here telling us that our  bodies are a to be a living sacrifice. We also know that Paul said that he died daily in 1 Cor. 15:31.

     B. Also, going back to the beginning of this teaching we are commanded to love the Lord our God with our whole heart, mind, soul and strength.

               a. That is mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Therefore, this tells me that we are to surrender our entire being to Him, a living sacrifice for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. Still, we must choose to fulfil this commandment in surrendering our will to His will for our lives. It’s a choice. What will you choose?
