Freedom Ministry Outreach Church
Freedom Ministry Outreach Church is a Subsidiary of ~*Sister Soldier*~ Ministries. We are a virtual church with 178 current members. We provide services to individuals who are currently incarcerated in Florida Prison and county jail systems.
This ministry is based on Hebrews 13:3 which says: "Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body."
Our Goal is to reach the lost and hurting souls that are currently incarcerated in the Florida Prison and county jail systems. We do this by communication via US mail & emails through the Jpay system.
We provide the following services to our members:
daily spiritual counseling and encouragement.
We also send out one sermon per week.
We have publications & a newsletter that are sent out through the month.
Each person is assigned an outreach coordinator so that communication is personalized and stable.
We conduct Bible Studies via US mail and jpay email.
Our newsletter features a section titled "Featured Writers" in which our members can submit poems, sermons, writings of their owe. This is done to empower and encourage growth in each individual that choses to be a part of this portion of the ministry.
We also assist in finding transitional housing for individuals who are being released who are unsure where they will go upon release.
Our founder has written two books that are provided to each person who is released from incarceration prior to their release. These books are a handbook on transition. One book is for the person being released and one is for their family and loved ones waiting at home. The books let each person know what to expect and what emotions they may experience as they transition. The book written tot he families helps them understand what their loved one is going through so they can be a help and not a hinderance in the transition.
We believe and attempt to instill the knowledge that no matter the physical state of your body, your mind can be free through Jesus Christ. Our teachings are Bible based on the foundation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and Acts 2:38. We attempt to help individuals as they walk with Jesus to gain understanding of the daily trials they may face and handle them by applying the Word of God to their situation and life.
