Broken to Boldness

When situations happen, and we don’t take time to stop and pray before we react to them then we are not truly handling the situation in a Godly manner. Now before you say HUH? I’m not talking about a situation that requires you saving someone physically from being harmed or helping someone in medical need. I’m not talking about you driving and swerving to avoid an accident. NO, those are situations in which you should react quickly, but to be honest if you are like me I scream JESUS. Which to me is a reaction prayer but always very effective.

Broken to boldness

I woke up the other day with an inspiration in my heart. I heard the words from Broken to Bold. Then the scriptures Ps. 51:17, Ps. 34:18 came to my mind.

Ps. 51:17 says: sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

Ps. 34:18 says: The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

that means when we are broken hearted God is near to us as we go thru our days and nights depending on Him to keep us. He is our strength in times of trouble. After these two scriptures came to me another one came.

Ps. 30:5 which says: For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

It encouraged my soul when I heard that scripture in my mind. I know God is with us. We must be strong and when we feel weak lean on God. We belong to God. We must trust Him to keep us safe and secure in His Love. When we face hard times where we are broken by life’s attacks and hell’s attacks we must view this as a time of growth and a time for God to show us that we are strong in Him beyond anything that this world or hell can throw at us. We will survive this trial. Not just survive thru it but we will STRIVE from it. We must learn to walk in the peace of God’s love for us and be strong in Him. When we are broken we find our strength in Him.

After these scriptures came to me God spoke to me about the boldness that comes after the brokenness. I sat for a moment when I heard the words boldness out of brokenness. Then the scripture Heb 4:16 came to me and Ps 30:6.

Psalm 30:6 says: And in my prosperity, I said, I shall never be moved.

Heb 4:16 says: Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

After reading these it became clear. We do not need to worry because Our Lord Jesus will take us from Broken to Bold thru this process. At times on this journey with God we become broken and don’t understand why we must go thru things that are painful & seemingly are meant to completely destroy us. I know at times I question God as to why certain things happen in my life. Sometimes He gives me a very direct answer and sometimes it is just for the building up of my strength to carry on. I hear it even as I am writing this… it is “for such a time as this.” If for nothing else these times from broken to boldness are to teach us that God is never changing and His love for us is everlasting. Whether the trial be an attack from hell, ordained by God or of our own design due to sin in our lives and we must repent and come back from it, we must understand that we will have trials at times, but they are not for the tearing down of us. They are to build us up to make us stronger so that we may endure to the end. For the race is not given to the swift but to them that endure… Weak people do not endure to the end. The only way to build a muscle is to work it out. Our spiritual muscles must be worked out just like our physical muscles. The only way to build our Prayer muscles, our faith muscles and our spiritual battle muscles is to face trials and work them out. The devil wants us to give up. He wants us to feel defeated BUT God... who is rich in mercy will see us thru. That is where Heb 4:16 comes in. In our broken state the word tells us that God draws near to us and in response we can draw near Him to find comfort and strength. Hebrews tells us here that we can come BOLDLY to the throne of grace. That means we can come in not as trespassers but as His children to find help in times of trouble. He is our Father. He did not do this to us. The enemy wishes to sift us like wheat. But GOD... will see us thru every trial and test. We will come out with a testimony of how the devil tried to kill us, BUT GOD kept us strong in. That is where Ps. 30:6 comes in... WE SHALL NEVER BE MOVED!!!

So I say to you this day, be encouraged my Brothers and Sisters. Be strong in God's love for us. WE BELONG TO GOD. We are His property. I am claiming each of us for the Kingdom of and I FULLY believe that God will protect us and keep us thru our journey with Him. God will take us from Broken to Bold in every trial we face, and we WILL come out with a powerful testimony. We are strong in God for He is our strength. One thing to remember is this… As we go through trials and tests in our walk with God, we must trust His guidance. He said in His word… Lean not to your own understanding but unto every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. We can trust Him, and He will lead us if we follow.

Be blessed today and every day. Hold fast to your faith and make your election sure.
